World Economic Forum: Live Broadcast of the Sustainable Development Impact Summit

As the UN General Assembly started, the Sustainable Development Impact Summit of the World Economic Forum (WEF) – took place in New York on September 23 and 24, 2019.


It brought together hundreds of leaders from governments, corporate world and civil society to help find solutions to the major challenges of climate change, health, inclusion and technology.

With rising international concern regarding deforestation, Colombian President Iván Duque discussed the region’s efforts and challenges in the Amazon Basin, as well as the ongoing dialogue to ensure a sustainable future for the Amazon.

Mark Rutte, Prime Minister of the Netherlands, co-chaired this year’s summit, alongside the CEO of IKEA Retail and the 18-year old co-founder of Bye Bye Bye Plastic Bags, Melati Wijsen.

The World Economic Forum once again trusted Canalchat Grandialogue to capture and stream live the multiple conferences organized for those who act in favor of sustainable development, putting the emphasis on the 17 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) set in the wings of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
